Correct water balance prevents damage to the pool surface, pool gear, and heaters.

It is also necessary for bather comfort and efficiency of your sanitizer.

 

Generally accepted ideal parameters are :

ph 7.2-7.6

Alkalinity 80-120 ppm

hardness 150-250ppm

 

A quality test kit or test strips will can measure water balance.
