To kill bacteria, viruses and algae. Oxidizing action also helps clear hazy pools.

Use tri-tabs in concrete or fiberglass pools, or dichlor in vinyl liner pools for mainatining a daily chlorine reading.

For regular shock-dosing over summer, use HTC chlorine granules, or try Shock n Swim which is a chlorine-free oxidiser.

Always maintain a stabiliser level of 30-50ppm in outdoor pools to maximize sanitizer efficiency.
