What is PU leather-look textile ?

It is an artificial leather textile that looks and feels like natural leather, but is made on a fabric base rather than from animal skin. It is an animal friendly, soft and carefree surface suited to modern living.

Not to be confused with old-fashioned PVC "leather", 100% PU leather textile is a modern materal made from polyurethane that is bonded to a textile base. It is more flexible with a higher tensile, tearing, and bursting strength than PVC "leather".

It has a high stress tolerance and is therefore an ideal material for sofa beds. Unlike PVC "leather", PU leather textile is washable, can be dry-cleaned, and allows some air to flow through.

What is classic fabric textile ?

This is a 100% polyester textile that is bonded to a fabric backing for strength. It is dry cleanable, washable and easy to clean. It is resilient and quick drying and resistant to biological damage such as mold and mildew. It has high strength, is resistant to stretch, shrinkage and wrinkling, is durable and has high colour fastness.
