The outdoor side table in our outdoor collection Venus is an ideal complement to the Venus sun lounger. It can be moved around effortlessly thanks to its lightweight stainless steel electropolished frame.
The Venus collection successfully marries the traditional art of rattan weaving with modern day innovation. The Venus side table is hand woven by skilled artisans using premium quality Ecolene branded 2mm synthetic round cord wicker around the electropolished stainless steel frame.
These materials, being of the highest quality, enable the collection to be used at seaside locations.

Materials:
Ecolene wicker
By choosing this new generation synthetic wicker you benefit from their unrivalled quality standards and experience.
Ecolene wicker is a polyethylene synthetic wicker manufactured using the latest extrusion technology to be more durable, insensitive to temperature fluctuations, free from cracking, splintering and corrision, yet still retain a natural look and feel. It is the only synthetic wicker which can withstand UV radiation (300-400nm wavelength), extreme heat, oxidation, high mositure, mold and mildew.
It has the highest level of resistance to colour change, particulary applicable to our strong NZ sunlight conditions.
Stainless steel
For the sub-frame of this collection we are using stainless steel of the quality 1.4301, type 304. This steel has become accepted worldwide in the construction of swimming pools and also in the manufacture of stainless-steel furniture. The surfaces and visible seams are passivated and precision-ground so that the chromium oxide layer formed can develop its protective features.
Product Care:
Ecolene wicker: just wash down with a soft brush and soapy water from time to time.
Stainless steel: regularly wash down with soapy water. If brown stains are visible, use a stainless steel cleaner. NEVER use an abrasive, as it will remove the protective electro-polish finish.
Cushion: vacuum off dust if dirty. Then spot clean any marks with a cloth and soapy water. For stubborn stains, we recommend using Sunbrella Fabric Cleaner.
In case of manufacturing or material faults, Poynters will repair or replace this furniture free of charge within a period of 2 years from the date of purchase, for domestic use. Note that all damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper or unreasonable use or improper maintenance are not covered by this warranty. Unless otherwise stated, cushions are excluded from this warranty.
