The BASTINGAGE Outdoor 2 person sofa is a generous 169cm wide and made by Les Jardins. It has a simple yet sophisticated appearance thanks to its round tubular frame with teak accents and sumptuous Sunbrella cushions that provide an exquisite level of seating comfort.
The seat cushions and back are made from quick dry foam, and covered in your choice of Sunbrella fabric (Some fabrics have a premium surcharge - please ask) custom made in New Zealand.
The teak wood accents on the arms have a deliberate architecturally textured grey appearance due a process which involves vigorous brushing for a seasoned finish, then after an initial coat of waterproofing primer, 5 coats of grey finish treatment is applied, known as DURATEK, a Les Jardins proprietary paint finish . This process protects the wood against the weather, UV and various stains such as wine, coffee or oil. The grey colour is distinctive and attractive. No need to oil, just clean with mild soapy water.

Materials:
Aluminium
The aluminium frame is precision welded on preformed jigs. The weld joints are then ground down to form attractive smooth seams. The frame is then powder-coated for extra strength and protection against oxidation.
Teak accents: proprietary Les Jardins Duratek finish
Cushions: premium Sunbrella fabric and Quick Dry foam
Product Care:
Aluminium frame: no particular care is required. From time to time, clean with a soft brush and soapy water and rinse clean. Avoid scratching the powder-coated surface.
Cushions: vacuum as required to remove dust and spot clean with soapy water and a clean cloth and rinse clean
In case of manufacturing or material faults, Poynters will repair or replace this furniture free of charge within a period of 2 years from the date of purchase, for domestic use. Note that all damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper or unreasonable use or improper maintenance are not covered by this warranty. Unless otherwise stated, cushions are excluded from this warranty.
